Brilliant Design Concepts is an interior design studio based in Sydney. Our design philosophy is driven by the desire to create a unique response to each client. Every project is energetically approached always striving to create a balance of contemporary design with eclectic elements to exceed expectation.
Cherel Millist is the principal designer of Brilliant Design Concepts. Cherel is an accredited designer of Design Institute of Australia (DIA) and a Certified Kitchen and Bathroom Designer with the Kitchen and Bathroom Design Institute Australia (KBDI). Her wealth of experience and attention to detail will ensure that Brilliant Design Concepts delivers on its promise of quality design and renovation for every project.
Through more than 20 years of experience, we have established solid relationships with professional builders and quality subcontractors who are a valued part of our design service.
We build lasting relationships by working with our clients to ensure seamless integration from the design concept to completion.

HOW WE WORK
Initial Consultation
By talking with you we will establish your individual requirements for the space, the function of the room/s, layout options, aesthetics, your must haves and your wish list.
Following the initial consultation we will outline the scope of works for the design and the associated fees .
Our initial consultation fee for an on-site meeting to discuss the scope of work and explore the project capabilities is $295 (Including GST).
Proposal Agreement
Following the initial consultation we will present you with a client proposal agreement which once agreed upon commissions us to proceed with the design. The agreement outlines the scope of works for the design and the associated fees.
Design Concept
During the Concept stage of the design process We establish the design brief and prepare concept drawings for your project, to encapsulate your individual requirements. We explain our thinking behind the design and present our concepts and recommendations.
Design Development
Any necessary modifications are made to the design, prior to providing the final quotation, all drawings and specifications including finishes and fixtures are finalised. A site meeting with relevant trades will be required to establish costs associated with the project.
Final Design
A complete specification, schedule and scope of works for the project are then issued including a detailed quotation. A proposed timeline will be discussed and determined. Final approval and sign off of all drawings, specifications and contracts is needed to proceed with the works.
